YOUR ITINERARY (DAY WISE)

Upon arrival at Paro Airport, our representative will meet and assist you. Begin your scenic drive to Thimphu (65 km / approx. 1.5 hrs). En route, stop at Tamchog Lhakhang, a 13th-century temple, and optionally take a short walk on the historic Chuzom Bridge. On arrival in Thimphu, check-in at the hotel. Spend your evening exploring the lively local markets or simply relax at the hotel. Overnight in Thimphu.

After breakfast, embark on a beautiful drive to Punakha (76 km, approx. 2.5 hrs one way). En route, stop at the Dochula Pass (3,150 m), famous for its 108 stupas and views of the snow-clad Himalayas. In Punakha, take a short hike to Chhimi Lhakhang – known as the “Temple of Fertility.” Continue to the grand Punakha Dzong, built in 1637, and enjoy its riverside serenity. If time allows, visit the scenic Suspension Bridge. Drive back to Thimphu in the evening. Overnight in Thimphu.

Post breakfast, visit Kuenselphodrang (Buddha Dordenma) – the tallest seated Buddha statue in Bhutan. Continue to the National Memorial Chorten, followed by the Folk Heritage Museum, showcasing traditional Bhutanese culture. After lunch, visit Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, and Takin Preserve, home to Bhutan’s unique national animal. End the day with a visit to the impressive Tashichho Dzong, the seat of the Bhutanese government and religion. Overnight in Thimphu.

After breakfast, drive to Paro (65 km / approx. 1.5 hrs). Visit Ta Dzong (National Museum), housing fascinating Bhutanese relics and thangkas. Continue to Rinpung Dzong, an iconic fortress-monastery. Explore Paro Town for souvenirs and local treats. Later, visit Kyichhu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Drive further to the Drukgyel Dzong ruins, and stop en route at a viewpoint for Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang). Finally, enjoy a serene pause at Paro Airport View Point before returning to Thimphu. Overnight in Thimphu.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Paro Airport (1.5 hrs drive) for your onward journey. Tour ends with cherished memories of Bhutan!
