YOUR ITINERARY (DAY WISE)

Upon arrival at Paro Airport, meet our representative and begin your scenic drive to Thimphu (65 km / 2 hrs), Bhutan’s capital city. After hotel check-in, enjoy a relaxed evening exploring Thimphu town on foot. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

After breakfast, start your day with a visit to the towering Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue), then move on to the National Memorial Chorten and Folk Heritage Museum. Later, visit Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, and Takin Preserve Centre—home to Bhutan’s national animal. Wrap up your day at the grand Tashichho Dzong. Overnight in Thimphu.

Start early for a day excursion to Punakha (76 km / 3 hrs). En route, stop at Dochu-La Pass (3,150 m) to admire panoramic Himalayan views. Visit the historical Punakha Dzong, followed by an easy hike to Chimi Lhakhang, a sacred temple dedicated to fertility. Return to Thimphu in the evening. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

After breakfast, head to Paro (65 km / 2 hrs). En route, stop at Tamchog Lhakhang, a 13th-century temple built by the Iron Bridge Builder, Thangthong Gyalpo. Cross an ancient iron bridge to reach the temple. In Paro, visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and the majestic Rinpung Dzong. Overnight stay at Paro.

After breakfast, prepare for a memorable hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest)—a spiritual icon perched dramatically on a cliffside. Later, visit the ancient Drukgyel Dzong and Kyichu Monastery, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Overnight in Paro.
