This 6 Nights / 7 Days road trip is perfect for travelers looking to journey into Bhutan by land and return the same way—without taking a flight. Starting from Phuentsholing, Bhutan’s bustling border gateway with India, the tour winds through the most captivating locations: the spiritual capital Thimphu, the river valley of Punakha/Wangdue, and the heritage haven of Paro.

After a warm welcome at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you’ll head to Phuentsholing, where Bhutan’s calm aura begins. From here, ascend into the hills to reach Thimphu—the world’s only capital city without traffic lights and home to beautiful dzongs, monasteries, and cultural centers.

From Thimphu, travel across the picturesque Dochu-La Pass, adorned with 108 stupas, to reach Punakha, where you’ll explore the glorious Punakha Dzong and take a soulful walk to Chhimi Lhakhang, also known as the Temple of Fertility.

In Paro, delve deeper into Bhutanese history with visits to iconic sites such as Rinpung Dzong, National Museum (Ta Dzong), and the ancient Kyichu Lhakhang.
