YOUR ITINERARY (DAY WISE)

Welcome to the gateway of Bhutan! On arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, meet our representative and drive to Phuentsholing (5 hrs). Check in to your hotel and relax in this bustling border town.
Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

After breakfast, complete immigration formalities and proceed to Thimphu, Bhutan’s serene capital (6 hrs). On arrival, check in and in the evening, visit Tashichho Dzong, a majestic fortress and government seat.

Today, explore the capital’s rich culture and heritage:

  • Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Dordenma) – a towering golden Buddha

  • National Memorial Chorten – built in memory of the Third King

  • Folk Heritage Museum – showcasing Bhutanese rural life

  • Sangaygang Viewpoint, Changangkha Monastery, and the Takin Preserve

  • Evening revisit to Tashichho Dzong (if not covered on Day 2)
    Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Drive to Punakha (3 hrs), stopping en route at the Dochu-La Pass (3150m) for Himalayan vistas. Visit:

    Return to Thimphu in the evening.
