YOUR ITINERARY (DAY WISE)

Upon arrival at Paro Airport, our representative will greet you and assist you with a scenic drive to Thimphu (7,710 ft), Bhutan’s charming capital. En route, pause at Tamchog Lhakhang and, time permitting, walk across the traditional Chuzom Bridge. Once in Thimphu, check into your hotel and unwind. In the evening, enjoy a casual walk in Thimphu town or simply relax at the hotel.
Overnight stay: Thimphu

After breakfast, explore Thimphu’s cultural and natural beauty. Begin with a visit to the Kuenselphodrang (Buddha Dordenma) for a panoramic view of the valley. Continue to the National Memorial Chorten, then visit the Folk Heritage Museum. In the afternoon, head to Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, and Takin Preserve Centre—home to Bhutan’s rare national animal. Conclude the day with a visit to Tashichho Dzong, an architectural masterpiece.
Overnight stay: Thimphu

Post breakfast, drive to Paro (7,483 ft), a valley rich in history. Visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and the impressive Paro Rinpung Dzong. Stroll around Paro Town before heading to Kyichhu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples. Later, see the Drukgyel Dzong ruins, with a photostop en route to admire the Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktshang) from afar.
