YOUR ITINERARY (DAY WISE)

Upon your arrival at Paro Airport, our local representative will warmly welcome you. Begin your scenic 2-hour drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan (7,710 ft). Upon arrival, check into your hotel and unwind. In the evening, take a leisurely walk through the streets of Thimphu to soak in the local culture. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

After breakfast, start your day with a visit to Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Dordenma), offering panoramic views of the Thimphu valley. Proceed to National Memorial Chorten and explore Bhutanese traditions at the Folk Heritage Museum. Post-lunch, visit Sangaygang View Point, the spiritual Changangkha Monastery, and the Takin Preserve. Conclude the day with a visit to Tashichho Dzong, the beautiful fortress-monastery. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Post breakfast, check out and drive to Paro. En route, stop at Tamchog Lhakhang, a 13th-century temple with an iron bridge crossing. Upon reaching Paro, check into your hotel. In the afternoon, explore Ta Dzong (National Museum) with its rich collection of art and relics, followed by a visit to Rinpung Dzong, known as “Fortress of the Heap of Jewels.” Overnight stay at Paro.

After an early breakfast, embark on the famous hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in Bhutan. The hike takes about 2 hours one way but rewards you with mesmerizing views and spiritual energy. Later in the day, visit Drukgyel Dzong, a historic ruin that once defended the valley, and the Kyichu Monastery, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples. Overnight stay at Paro.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and get transferred to Paro Airport for your onward journey with beautiful memories of Bhutan.
