YOUR ITINERARY (DAY WISE)

On arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to Shillong (4,900 ft), known as the “Scotland of the East”. En route, enjoy the picturesque Umiam Lake, a tranquil water body surrounded by lush hills. Check into your hotel in Shillong.
Overnight stay: Shillong

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee, famous for being one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit the thundering Nohkalikai Falls and explore the mystical Mawsmai Caves. On your way back to Shillong, stop by the beautiful Elephant Falls and enjoy panoramic views from Shillong Peak.
Overnight stay: Shillong

Today, head towards Dawki, a serene town near the India-Bangladesh border, known for the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River. Later, proceed to Mawlynnong, renowned as Asia’s Cleanest Village. Walk to the stunning Living Root Bridge and see the famous Balancing Rock. Return to Shillong in the evening.
Overnight stay: Shillong

After breakfast, explore local attractions in Shillong including the Don Bosco Museum, a hub of tribal culture and heritage, and the serene Ward’s Lake. Later, drive back to Guwahati. On arrival, check in to your hotel.
Optional: In the evening, enjoy a Golden Sunset Cruise on the Brahmaputra River (at your own expense).
Overnight stay: Guwahati

After breakfast, visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple, one of India’s oldest and most revered Shakti Peethas (Note: Temple timings – 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM & 3:00 PM till sunset). Later, proceed to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
Note: Kamakhya visit may be done on Day 4 depending on your flight/train schedule.
