YOUR ITINERARY (DAY WISE)

Upon arrival at Paro Airport, meet our representative and enjoy a scenic drive to Thimphu (65 km / 2 hrs). After hotel check-in, visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Dordenma), the National Memorial Chorten, and the majestic Tashichho Dzong, Bhutan’s seat of governance. Overnight in Thimphu.

After breakfast, drive to Punakha/Wangdue (77 km / 3 hrs), stopping at Dochu-La Pass for panoramic views of the Himalayas. After hotel check-in, visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong and take a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang, the Fertility Temple. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Punakha/Wangdue.

Option 1: Full-day excursion to Gangtey, a glacial valley known for its beauty and Black-Necked Cranes. Visit Gangtey Monastery.
Option 2: Explore Punakha with a hike to Khamsum Yuelley Namgyal Chorten, visit the Punakha Suspension Bridge, and Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Nunnery. Overnight in Punakha/Wangdue.

After breakfast, head to Paro (140 km / 5 hrs). En route, visit the Royal Botanical Park at Lamperi. In Paro, explore the National Museum (Ta Dzong) and Rinpung Dzong, a historical fortress. Evening free for leisure. Overnight in Paro.

Post breakfast, embark on a memorable hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), one of Bhutan’s most revered sites. Later, visit Drukgyel Dzong and the sacred Kyichu Monastery. Return for overnight stay in Paro.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and get transferred to Paro Airport for your onward journey with a heart full of Himalayan memories.
