Drive to Punakha via scenic Dochu-La Pass. Visit the grand Punakha Dzong and hike to Chhimi Lhakhang, known as the Fertility Temple. Overnight in Punakha/Wangdue.

Day 3: Excursion to Gangtey OR Punakha Local
Choose between a full-day trip to Gangtey Valley to see black-necked cranes or a relaxed Punakha Valley tour with suspension bridge and hilltop nunnery hike. Overnight stay.
