Day 1: NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Phuentsholing

Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport (IXB), you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Phuentsholing, the bustling border town that serves as the gateway to Bhutan. The scenic 5-hour drive introduces you to the eastern Himalayan landscape. After reaching Phuentsholing (961 ft), check in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

Day 2: Phuentsholing – Thimphu

After breakfast, complete the immigration formalities and embark on a scenic drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan situated at 2,350 meters. En route, soak in views of majestic mountains, winding rivers, and quaint villages. On arrival in Thimphu (7,710 ft), check in to your hotel. In the evening, visit the grand Tashichho Dzong, a fortress-monastery that houses the government offices and the summer residence of the Chief Abbot. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing – Transfer to Paro

Start your morning with visits to Kuensel Phodrang (home to the giant Buddha statue overlooking Thimphu Valley), the National Memorial Chorten (a revered landmark dedicated to Bhutan’s Third King), and the Folk Heritage Museum. In the afternoon, drive to Paro (7,483 ft), a serene valley town known for its sacred sites and rich heritage. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 4: Paro Full-Day Sightseeing

Today is reserved for discovering the cultural richness of Paro. Begin at Ta Dzong, the National Museum of Bhutan, which showcases religious artifacts, textiles, and relics. Then visit Rinpung Dzong, a striking example of Bhutanese architecture and the administrative seat of Paro.
